Today’s post for the SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ and Graphic 45® Blog Hop is a vellum on vellum card I created with the Steampunk Debutante collection.
I die cut the focal point image, then stacked it onto layers of die cuts, with black cardstock and then coordinating Steampunk Debutante papers. Each layer is adhered with Crafty Foam Tape. The Crafty Foam Tape adds dimension, and allows me to cut the tape to the exact size I need.
The vellum die cuts in the shapes of gears are adhered with MyStik™ Permanent Vellum Adhesive. I adhered the pieces then trimmed them to fit the vellum card base. They stick without showing adhesive lines or falling off.

I love vellum and I also do Pergamano and have yet to find an adhesive that doesn’t show. I have never heard of this adhesive but I am anxious to try it.

Lovely card – I love the layering. And you have vellum adhesive too, who knew…. I’ve been using little squares that aren’t super great, so glad to find a new product!

Wow! This is gorgeous, never would have guessed those gears were die-cut and adhered, I thought it was an embossed vellum paper! Beautiful card, will have to try this vellum adhesive for sure!
I’ve never used vellum as the base for a card, but after seeing this, I’m going to go for it! I’m also going to try the vellum adhesive….nice to know there’s something out there that actually works!

I like to use vellum, but always have a hard time adhering it. I am going to have to try the vellum adhesive! I love Graphic 45 paper, great card.
I love the Steampunk papers but would not have thought of using them in such a creative way. Seeing everyon’s work gives me so many ideas of how to add dimension to my pieces. Thank you.
