Hi, it’s Beth today! I have a card showing an embellished 3D Foam Heart shape using embossing powder. Yes, you can heat emboss our 3D Foam!
Start by layering Graphic 45’s Bird Song Collection patterned paper onto the card base, with Black Photo Corners to frame the design. Trim a patterned paper tag and mat it with black cardstock, then adhere it with E-Z Squares® Refillable. A satin ribbon is tied through the tag, and adhered with Black 3D Foam Squares for dimension.
To embellish the 3D Foam Heart, place the heart on the tag, then remove the top liner to reveal the adhesive. Sprinkle embossing powder and heat it until the powder is melted. The 3D Foam is high density and stands up to heat, it doesn’t curl or melt!
This card is easy and fast, and would be great as a birthday or thinking of you card, just change up the sentiment inside!
You can add media such as glitter, micro beads, mica flakes, flock and even Metallic Transfer Foil to the adhesive surface of 3D Foam Shapes. You can find lots of inspiration when you click here: Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside.
Thanks for coming in today, please leave a comment and tell us what you embellish with!
