Hello Blogosphere! It’s Tiffany & welcome to Day 5 of our Blog Hop with A Jillian Vance Design! I have two altered XL Hershey’s Chocolate Bar treats to share with you today:
I used the Happy {OWL}oween Stamp Set to create hanging-mini tags:
To create the mini-tags I simply folded some cardstock and placed the following die (large owl) so that the top of it was above the fold:
Here’s a detailed look at the tag. I placed the stamped, colored, and die-cut large owl on the front of each tag with 3D Foam Squares – White, Regular size. The birch tree paper straws are adhered with Adhesive Dots Small:
Instructions:
1. Wrap candy bars with patterned paper/ink distressed gauze or cardstock with embroidery floss using Crafty Power Tape.
2. Stamp and color large owls with black ink and Copic Markers. Die Cut with Owl Duo Dies.
3. Stamp, color, and draw details on smaller bat owl. Trim & adhere google eyes with Adhesive Dots Small.
4. Die cut 2 tags using the larger Owl Duo Die by folding cardstock in half and positioning the top of the die above the fold.
5. Adhere stamped and colored large owls onto the die-cut tags. Stamp sentiment inside.
6. Use the Black Pear Pins and some hemp cord to attach the tags to the decorated candy bar.
7. Attach a trimmed birch wood paper straw with Adhesive Dots Small and adhere the small bat owl with a 3D Foam Square – white, small.
Materials used:
Patterned Paper: Lawn Fawn (Into the Woods), Cardstock: Core’dinations Nostalgic Collection No.11, Copic Markers (E0000, E33, E19, E74, G0000, YG63, YG95), Fibers: Lawn Fawn (Hot Cocoa Hemp Cord), DMC Floss (brown), Stamps: A Jillian Vance Design (Happy {OWL}oween}, Dies: A Jillian Vance Design (Owl Duo), Embellishments: A Jillian Vance Design (pear pins black), Google Eyes, Birch Wood Paper Straws, Inks: Ranger Ink Distress Inks (pumice stone, old paper), Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Memento (tuxedo black)
