Michele here with a fun card to share for the Art Impression’s blog hop! I had the privilege of using their new set, Birthday Love. I used my Copic markers to color her in. I wanted to air brush the background, so I masked her off to add a bit of blue and yellow. I matted her with pink, white, and black card stock. I used Crafty Foam Tape for added dimension and for alternating layers I used E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips . To bring out the black a bit more I added Creative Photo Corners in black.
I stamped the sentiment in black and created my own banner. I adhered it with Crafty Foam Tape in white. I added some coordinating ribbon, pink string, and a heart button.
I loved her little pom pom socks, so I added a little hot pink pom pom. 😉

Love this card. I need some of those old lady stamps. They are so fun. Regarding contest question. I don’t usually make gifts anymore. I do make giftcard holders. I would like to try to make a sewing box for my granddaughter this year if I have time.
