Hi, friends! Have you ever made a card with a transparency? Teri here to show you how to do just that by making a Miss You Floating Front Card with a transparency window. Then I’ll add some 3D Foam Shapes to it that will make it clearly amazing!

Make the Floating Front Card Base
Start by creating a card base from white cardstock. Open the card up and cut a few inches off the bottom. Make sure your panel is slightly taller than the piece you cut off. Mount it onto the cardstock.
Cover the top front of your card with patterned paper pieces. Add a border with a sticker or piece of cardstock as well.
Add a strip of cardstock across the bottom of the card. Mount a 3D Foam Frame to cardstock. Add Metallic Transfer Foil to the frame. Remember, when using foil, you want to set it on the 3D Foam with the pretty side up. Rub it firmly onto the 3D Foam to transfer the foil. Once you’ve added the foil, cut part of the frame off and adhere it to your card.

Add 3D Foam Shapes and Metallic Transfer Foil
Set some 3D Foam Butterflies on the transparency. Add some 3D Foam Circles as well. Burnish the foil onto them.

Open your card up and add a piece of patterned paper to it. Be sure to position the paper panel so it can be seen through the window. Add a sentiment that you can see through the window. I used stickers but a stamped one would work just as well.

Complete the card by closing it up and adding a few sequins (or some other small embellishment) to the front of the card.
I hope you enjoyed today’s Miss You Floating Front Card project and are inspired to try making a card with transparency.
Happy Creating!
