Pink Graduation Card

It’s graduation season, and you’re going to need a few cards in your stash. This is a fun pink shaker card that can be customized for the occasion with the stamped sentiments.

Beth Pingry Pink Graduation Card It’s pretty easy, here’s how I made it, and the adhesives I used:

BethPingry-graduation1Cut the card base, the cut the patterned paper layer to about 1/4″ smaller than the base. Use E-Z Dots® Repositionable Refillable to secure the patterned paper to the card. Die cut the shape into both layers of the card, this ensures that the openings will line up later.

Remove the patterned paper layer, and use Crafty Power Tape to secure a piece of clear plastic to the card front, be sure it covers the die cut hole. I used a piece of page protector for my card. Next, cut Crafty Foam Tape so that it completely encloses the die cut hole.

Fill the hole with sequins, remove the tape liner and add the second layer of plastic. Add some 3D Foam Squares to the rest of the card front – they’re the same height as the Crafty Foam Tape. Add the patterned paper to the card front, lining up the openings.

BethPingry-graduation5Add glitter to 3D Foam Pennants and arrange in the card front. Stamp a sentiment onto a die cut and adhere it with 3D Foam Squares to the card.
