A Vintage Page for My Grandfather

Hello Everyone

Once again it’s my turn to share one of my projects from “Down Under”.

I have done a vintage page for you. It’s one on my Grandad for a family album I am putting together. I have lots of wonderful photos, but most of them are small and blurry. I decided to do a page to look like an old wall with lots of photos hanging from a picture rail. I found some photos of Grandad take at different stages of his life. I still need to find two more of him when he was older.

I chose two K&Company print papers and cut them to create the “wallpaper” wall. I used my E-Z Runner® to adhere the paper to my foundation page.

On the top part of my “wall” I drew some lines with a pencil and used my Crafty Power Tape – 81’/25m with Built-In Dispenser and added the tape along the pencil lines. I then adhered my ribbon down and wrapped the ends under top edge of the print paper.

I used it again to add the braid ribbon on along the join of my two print papers.

I inked and embossed some chipboard frames from Imaginarium Designs. The large oval frame, I inked first then added some copper embossing powder. The smaller frames, I inked black. For the rectangle frame, I inked it first with green ink and with my finger smeared green perfect pearls on it. I added the photos to the frames and mounted them all onto my page using 3D Foam Squares – Black, Variety Pack

Some more Crafty Power Tape for the ribbon at the bottom of my page and a title to finish the layout. I will do some journaling once I have the last two photos.

You may have noticed I have used my favorite 3L scrapbooking product! – Photo Corners – Classic Style, Black I use these wonderful corners on every scrapbook layout I do. I love the classic look it gives to my work.

An easy layout, with lots of photos, perfect for an Ancestry Album

thanks so much for looking
