Sending Love with Lawn Fawn

Welcome to Day 4 of the Blog Hop with Lawn Fawn! So much creativity on both company’s blogs, and so many wonderful comments, thanks for playing along!

I am using the You’ve Got Mail stamp set. I have this thing for postage and had to have this set. To me it seemed like it needed to be dimensional, so I decided to make a pop up card on the inside!

The front is the post card image with postage and cancellation marks, with the airmail border. The heart is punched and heat embossed, using Adhesive Sheets to hold the embossing powder, then adhered with Small Black 3D Foam Squares.

Now, for the inside!

BethPingry-Lawn Fawn Mailbox cardI wanted to create a scene where the mailbox was on a sidewalk. First I cut the card to make the pop out, measured to the size of the mailbox. Then I added paper to make the curb, grass and then sidewalk. The message ‘sending love your way’ is in white to make it look like it was written in chalk.

The mailbox was stamped with off white ink, then heat embossed with off white embossing powder. I made 2 then stacked them with Crafty Foam Tape before adding it to the card.

The sky needed something, so I hand cut a cloud from white paper and an Adhesive Sheet, added layers of embossing powder and hung it in the sky.
