Key Box

Hello, Christine here today with a little gift box featuring a decorative lid.  I’ve combined pretty flowers, bottle top, key and leaves to create a simple pretty vintage look.

The box is created using Spellbinders™ Square Bracket Edge Box die template.  Cut/emboss and assemble using E-Z Runner® Limited Edition 10th Anniversary – 10′ extra.  Imagine how many boxes you can create!  Applying the adhesive to the tabs is simple because you can dispense as little or as much as you need – it is tiny little strips so it can be applied in curves just as easily as straight lines.  I’ve used some plain cream cardstock for the box base and Core’dinations ColorCore decorated cardstock for the lid.

I then gathered together all the decorative items I would need, a flattened bottle cap, a key cut from engraving board, flowers and leaves – Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms.  My 3D Foam Squares are at the ready for attaching all the embellishments.

Within minutes the box was decorated, ideal if you need to make many – perhaps for a party, anniversary or wedding.

Just a touch of distress ink to the box edges adds to the vintage look.

Thank you for joining me today.  As a reminder, here is the super sticky products I have used for my project.
