Michele here with a card that was created for a very special girl. She is going through a difficult time in her life, and I wanted her to know that she is in my thoughts and prayers. I used a stencil and various inks to create the background. I adhered the stenciled piece to the card using Crafty Foam Tape-White, to give it a bit of depth.
I added shimmery ribbon and tied it vertically. I added a sentiment from SRM stickers and held it in place with DODZ™-Small. I added some pink ribbon, yellow string, and two little orange posies. I used 3D Foam Leaves. Since they were sticky I just dumped yellow embossing powder over them and heat embossed them. I inked the ends in a bit of orange.
I adhered the leaves and posies using DODZ™-Small.
I was always a card hoarder, and have realized that sending them is more important than collecting them! That is my mission…to send as many cards as I can. 🙂

This card is absolutely gorgeous I love that you shaded the leaves in multiple colors I also think that flower you added is beautiful as well as the ribbon! If you want to start giving away your hoarded cards check with a hospital or nursing home in your area they are always looking for cards have a great day

Stenciling is an incredible art form. The card immediately gives me the feeling of wonderful memories of tropical isles. The leaves look like they could be a pattern on a dress from the forties. Michele, the card is so special , you
were creating with your heart. I love this card and the feelings the it brings to my heart. Thank you for sharing.
