Hello everyone! Asia here and today I’m sharing a short tutorial for a super quick, summery ‘thank you card’. OK, let’s begin!
1. Prepare a tall card blank and a slightly smaller panel from a patterned paper. Choose a pattern that is light and not too busy so it doesn’t distract from the main image. Ink the edges with Tea Dye ink. Adhere the panel to the card base with E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips – Refillable.
2. Stamp Stampendous Jumbo Hollyhock onto cream card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Colour the image with your favourite medium – I used Inktense pencils. Fussy cut the flower.
3. Add Thin 3D Foam Squares – Mix White to the back of the flower and adhere the image to the card.
4. Finish the card with a decorative ribbon, brads/gems and a sentiment panel, mounted over a double layer of Thin 3D Foam Squares – Mix White.
Supplies used:
E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips – Refillable, Thin 3D Foam Squares – Mix White
Other supplies:
Stampendous Jumbo Hollyhock and Say It Today stamps, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Tim Holtz Tea Dye ink, Bazzill Basic cardstock, patterned paper, May Arts decorative ribbon.
I hope you enjoyed my quick tutorial! Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous week!
Big hugs
