Hi! Michele here! I have a sympathy card to share with you today. I found this beautiful flower cut at the Silhouette store. I love poppies and knew I had to create something with it. It has a lot of dimension and to be sure there were layers with various heights, I used the Crafty Foam Tape in black. I cut it in half lengthwise to make it skinnier. I didn’t want to be able to see it peeking out from the frame.
I adhered the flower petals using the DODZ™ small. I added a silver doily to the top and bottom using the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips. I tied a bit of coordinating string and added my gem and sentiment with the DODZ™ small.
I like to make sympathy cards when there isn’t an immediate need for them. I have a little basket I keep them in until they are needed.
Thank you for popping by today!

What a gorgeous card it is always difficult for me to come up with a design for these cards
but unfortunately they are a necessary part of life. It sounds like a good idea to make some ahead of time and keep in a basket or box you can leave them blank inside to write a note when needed thanks for the idea!
