Happy World Card Making Day!
Hi it’s Judy and I’m happy to be sharing a handmade Dresden Quilt Birthday Wishes card for World Card Making Day! Find our giveaway details at the bottom of this post!
Dresden Quilt Birthday Card Instructions
Where I live, fall brings a chill to the air that makes me think of warm quilts. I put together this Dresden Quilt Birthday Wishes card using Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6ʺ to fasten all the little pieces, Thin 3D Foam Squares to add a little dimension, and Dodz Adhesive Dots Small to hold the button in place. The paper layers are fastened with E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser.
First use the Dresden Quilt die to cut 3 different patterned papers and 1 of cream cardstock from which only the outline piece is used. Next apply Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6ʺ: remove the yellow liner, apply the adhesive to a piece of cream cardstock that is slightly bigger than the die, remove the top liner.
Then place the quilt outline die cut onto the exposed adhesive. Cover it with the release paper and press it firmly in place.
Position the quilt pieces onto the adhesive to form the quilt pattern! Press them firmly in place.
Trim off the excess cardstock around edge of the quilt.
Use E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser to layer it onto pattern and solid mats.
Add Thin 3D Foam Squares Mix White to adhere it to card front.
Stamp a verse on cream cardstock. Fasten to patterned and orange paper mats with E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser. Use Thin 3D Foam Squares Mix White and position it onto card front. Thread pearl cotton through a button and tie a bow. Attach the button to card with Dodz Adhesive Dots Small.
Now you can use leftover die cut pieces to make two more cards!
Enjoy this World Card Making Day!
