Hello! Shellye McDaniel bringing you a really fun and easy upcycling project that fits into all sorts of paper crafting. Paper Embellishment Bits are great for embellishing your card fronts, scrapbook pages, planners and more!
Let’s Begin Embellishment Construction
Gather up various Scrapbook Adhesives such as Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6 inch, Crafty Foam Tape in Black, 3D Foam Circles White Mix and Adhesive Dots Small.
For these particular embellishments, I used a die to cut a 2″ circle from lightweight chipboard and an Adhesive Sheet 4 x 6 inches.
Next, apply the die cut adhesive circle to the chipboard circle and then remove protective paper.
Use a favorite trim and press it into the adhesive as you work your way around the circle.
Following the trim addition, apply strips of Crafty Foam Tape in Black to the adhesive side of the chipboard circle.
Cut a second circle from the chipboard and adhere to the strips of Crafty Foam Tape in Black.
Dressing Up!
3D Foam Circles White Mix is perfect when you need to cover a lot of areas or just a little. To each of the small die-cuts, I used the 3D Foam Circles White Mix before layering them on top of the bottom pieces.
After stitching through all of the buttons with thread, use an Adhesive Dot Small to adhere them to the embellishments.

I love these great way to use up all those bits and pieces we’ve been hoarding in our stash. I also like the idea that they can be made ahead and be ready at hand when you need them. Well done tfs.

These are just too, too cute, Shellye! GREAT use of all the little tidbits we all have laying around! I just might have to take this idea and run with it myself!
