Hi everyone, Christine here today with a mosaic heart card made entirely with 3D Foam Squares White Regular.
A Mosaic Heart Tutorial
Firstly cut through the 3D Foam Squares White Regular diagonally to create triangles. Tip: try to keep them as even as possible, it really helps when building your mosaic design.
Next, remove the top sheets to expose the sticky surface and cover with embossing powder, tap off the excess and set with a heat gun. It sets really quickly and creates a lovely surface.
Prepare more 3D Foam Squares White Regular with different color embossing powders.
Take a piece of craft card and begin to make out your design. I used a ruler to align the first triangles.
Keep building the pattern with different colors. I particularly like this pastel color combination of pink, gold, and silver. You could, of course, go for bold and bright.
I chose a geometric heart, there are many patterns available.
Using E-Z Runner Grand® Refillable Dispenser mat the heart onto a coordinating color cardstock and gold foil card square.
Attach to a card front. I pre-printed the card sentiment by typing and running it through my printer. The finished design, truly lots of fun to make.
Thanks for stopping by. Make your next creative project a grand one!
