Hello, Shellye McDaniel here today with a “Wild” birthday greeting. This is a fun card loaded with layers and cuteness that will bring a smile to the lucky recipient.
A Wild Start of a Card
To begin I stamped the “Wild Texture” Cling Stamp onto a 2.5″ X 5.25″ piece of white cardstock. I chose the yellow pigment ink from the Petal Point ink pad.
Next, I stamped the cute lion image and colored in with alcohol markers. I die-cut the image using the dies that coordinate with the stamps. Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of green cardstock.
After stamping I began to build the scene with other dies from the set. I used the 3D Foam Creative Sheets Medium and trimmed into 1/8″ strips. The strips were used to attach the round frame onto the blue background paper.
I cut a second frame and used the sprigs of grass to layer on top of the other with 3D Foam Squares, White, Small. The ribbon bow was attached with Adhesive Lines and the alpha beads attached with Adhesive Dots Micro.
Assemble the card with a combination of E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser and Crafty Foam Tape White. For the buttons, I used Adhesive Dots 3D.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this “wild” card!
