Hello crafty friends! Tracy here, and today I have a fun little tutorial to share on how to create this textured checkered pattern using Creative Photo Corners. Here are all of the details.
Checkered Pattern
I started by cutting my front black cardstock layer, 3.5×4.75. Then at the top and the bottom, I added Creative Photo Corners White. This cardstock size should let you have 5 photo corners across. This is the beginning of your checkered background.
Now, take Creative Photo Corners Black and add them across the top and bottom, off-set from the Creative Photo Corners White. This will give that classic checkered background.
Repeat this so that you have two rows of Creative Photo Corners White and two rows of Creative Photo Corners Black on the top and the bottom.
Add the foam sticker word to a strip of black cardstock and mat that in white cardstock using the E-Z Runner® Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser. Then the matted sentiment is added to the card using 3D Foam Squares White Regular Size.
Mat the checkered background in white cardstock and then gold cardstock. Then adhere to a white card base using the E-Z Runner® Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser.
