Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a fun Spring craft tutorial that uses the new E-Z Runner Hearts and Stars Dispensers and Foil Sheets. I’m spreading kindness around my neighborhood with some vibrant rock art.
This foiling technique is quick and easy to achieve using just adhesive and metallic transfer foil sheets. No extra tools, gel, powders or heat is required to create beautiful projects. This simple craft tutorial is fun for artists of all ages.
Foiled Rock Art Tutorial
Apply two similar shades of acrylic paint onto either end of a rock. Use the paintbrush to blend the wet paint together where the colors meet in the middle of the rock to create a beautiful Ombre effect.
Place the E-Z Runner Hearts Refillable Dispenser onto the surface of the rock and slowly press and roll the dispenser to apply the adhesive shape. Repeat this process until the front of the rock surface is covered with hearts.
Apply foil to the adhesive hearts. Place the foil sheet color side UP on top of the exposed adhesive and gently rub with a finger. Peel away the foil sheet to reveal the foiled heart. I recommend applying foil to one shape at a time for more precise coverage.
Mix and match paint colors with the fun varieties of metallic transfer foil sheets. I used hearts and stars for my adhesive element, but dots and lines would also look amazing. I hope I have inspired you with this fun Rock Art idea!
