Hello crafty friends! Tracy here, and today I have a bright and fun Easy Sweet Rush Layout to share. This bright and beautiful collection was so much fun to work with. I’ll show you how to create a simple dimensional layout with patterns and embellishments. Here are all of the details on how I created this simple layout.
Let’s Get Crafty
The first steps in creating the easy sweet rush layout was to cut the patterned colour blocks (2.5×4) and crop my photo. Then I matted them all in white cardstock using the E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser. I love to mix bold patterns and colours, and this collection was so much fun to do that with.
Adhere these matted pieces across the middle of the layout using Crafty Foam Tape White. I used 2 layers of Crafty Foam Tape White under the matted photo. I love to give different depths to the layout using layers of foam adhesives.
Next I added lots of ephemera embellishments around this easy sweet rush layout using a combination of Thin 3D Foam Squares Black Mix and 3D Foam Squares White Mix.
My final touch was to add a little bit of sparkle to this Easy Sweet Rush Layout by adding gold star stickers and gems.
