Hi, Connie here with a fun pet lover card, You’re My Best Pal Card, using die cuts by Doodlebug Design, and 3D Foam Adhesives. Using patterned papers and matching die cuts make it easy and fast to create themed cards. For an added touch the pattern paper can be added to the flap of the envelope.

Assembling the You’re My Best Pal Card

- 1. Gather the papers and pick out the die cuts for the card front. Cut the pattern papers to card size 5 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ is what I used.
2. Trim a triangle, the size of the envelope flap, from the pattern paper. Adhere it over the flap using the E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser. Trim around the flap with scissors and cut off the excess.
3. Add the bottom mat to the card base using the E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser. Add the second mat using the Crafty Foam Tape 108′ for added dimension.
4. Add the die-cut images using 3D Foam Squares White Mix, 3D Foam White Circles Mix, and 3D Foam Strips.

Using an old toothbrush and watered-down black acrylic paint add a splash of color to complete the card. I love how
the paint adds a little distressed look to the die cuts. I hope you enjoyed my tutorial on the You’re My Best Pal Card!
Thanks for stopping by!
Connie
