Hi, Jingle here today. I am excited to share a simple design that shows how foil can be used in your fall designs as this Quiet Wonder of Fall Foil Card.
Create this beautiful fall card using some gorgeous papers. Add the always wonderful Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors to one of the three trees, and have yourself a WoW! factor.
Wonder of Fall Focal Point
Apply a piece of Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6in behind some white cardstock and then die-cut a tree shape with it. Make sure the adhesive sheet side is facing the correct way – in this case, facing front! After die-cutting, peel off the liner and add a piece of bronze foil from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors pack with the color side facing you over the exposed adhesive. Rub to transfer the color and remove to reveal the beautiful shine! Reapply the foil in missed areas.
But I didn’t stop with just some clever foiling. I used the thinner Crafty Foam Tape White 108ft for the foiled tree, and then popped up the other trees using 3D Foam Strips and 3D Foam Squares White Regular. The foam strips are perfect for those delicate tree trunks!
Final Card Assembly
To assemble the card, I added a simply cut wavy border to ground the trees before adding the trees with their dimension. I then used my trusty E-Z Runner® Grand Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser to adhere the white panel to a dark Kraft colored panel for a thin border.
Finally, I adhered the panel to a card base using Crafty Power Tape Polybag 81ft. I like this tear tape when I have multiple layers. Because it has a STRONG hold, I can trust it to handle those layers.
