Hey everybody – happy Tuesday! Hoping the first month of the new year has been kind to you so far. Are you ready for a warm cup of tea?! I think I am! Leslie here, sharing a super cute faux narrow panel step card which can be tailored to literally any occasion. Thinking this chilly weather calls for a warm cuppa, that’s the direction I went… a TEA-riffic friendship card! This fun fold features several of my essential ‘go-to’ Scrapbook Adhesives products. Let me show you how easy this card is to make!
TEA-rrific Focal Element
Using circle and scallop dies, I cut a layered background for the focal element, approximately 3-3/4″ in diameter. Reached for the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser to assemble it. Next, using a stamp and die bundle in my stash, I added fussy-cut florals with the Dual Tip Glue Pen. The cup was popped up on Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix for just a hint of dimension.
Card Base Details
Afterwards, I cut the card base at 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 1-1/4″, 2-1/2″ and 6-3/4″. Adhered patterned paper panels using the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser. Additionally, I cut the faux narrow panel at 1-1/2″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″. Also adhered patterned paper panels to this piece using the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser.
TEA-riffic Friendship Card Assembly
Applied adhesive with the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser to the inside outer ends of the faux narrow panel. Closed the card base and slid the narrow panel into place, centering it and lining up the bottom edges. Pressed into place to adhere.
To complete the front, I added the focal element and a stamped sentiment using 3D Foam Squares White Mix. Had to add a few clear gemstones… gotta have some bling!
Finishing The Inside
I incorporated a strip of patterned paper used on the front onto the sentiment panel. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment, and this super cute fun fold was finished!
