Hi everyone, Yvonne here with a cute Some Bunny Loves You Card. I like to experiment with materials and for this card, I chose seed beads, being displayed using the technique called Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside. Wanna join me in creating this card? Let’s get started!
Create a Beaded Card Panel
Trim a piece of lilac cardstock to a rectangular card panel for the Some Bunny Loves You Card. Peel off seven smaller rings from the 3D Foam Circle Frames White on the panel and keep them together to foam a solid circle. Center it to the panel.
Peel off only the liner of the outer (largest) circle frame, cover it with gold embossing powder and rub to secure. Tap off excess and use a heat tool to melt the powder. Yes, the 3D Foam Circle Frames White are heat resistant!
Remove the other circle liners and cover them with a mix of pink and purple seed beads. Press the seed beads into the foam circles to secure. Tap off the excess. This technique making your adhesive shine is called Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside.
Hearted Circle
To continue with the above technique, I placed several hearts from the E-Z Runner® Hearts Refillable Dispenser around the textured circle on the panel. Designer’s Tip: For precise placement, I used tweezers to peel of the hearts from the E-Z Runner® Hearts Refillable Dispenser to the panel. Then add salmon pink glitter on top of the hearts, rub to secure and tap off the excess to reveal the sparkly color!
Card Layers and Base
Mat the embellished top card panel to a pink panel and then on a white card base with the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser.
Some Bunny Fun
Stamp a bunny on white cardstock with black ink, let it dry and then color it. I used color pencils to color and fussy cut the image. Next, stamp a sentiment on white cardstock and cut it out as a banner. Then mat it on a pink banner using the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser. Pop up the sentiment and bunny on the card with 3D Foam Squares Regular Size. What a perfect way to add with the textured focal point!
