Hi everyone, Yvonne here with a fun and easy to make Summertime Fun Card. Since it’s summer themed, I used bright and happy colors – the background is made with scraps of paper. Isn’t that fun?! The card is very easy to create, making it suitable for beginner card makers. Let’s get started!
Top Card Panel
First trim a piece of lilac cardstock into a rectangular card panel. This is the base background of the top card panel for the Summertime Fun Card. Then bright colored paper scraps to strips of about ¼ inch wide.
Use the E-Z Runner® Grand Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser to adhere the strips criss cross onto the lilac card panel. Then cut of the ends that stick out using scissors.
Card Base
Fold a piece of white cardstock to a rectangular card. Then adhere the striped card panel for the Summertime Fun Card onto the white card base.
Use the E-Z Runner® Grand Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser as your adhesive to affix the card panel onto the card base.
Embellish the Card Front
Decorate the Summertime Fun Card with pre-cut pieces. Adhere the Summer Time Fun sentiment onto the card using 3D Foam Squares White Mix.
Add the other two elements with Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix. Designer’s Tip: Use different heights in foam adhesive to create depth to your layers.
And voilá, your card is ready. Wasn’t that simple yet fun to create?
