Latisha Yoast

Navy Fun Scrapbook Layout

Latisha here with you, sharing a scrapbook page I recently made.  This was originally a complete photo tutorial, however my photos got lost in the cloud somewhere lol.  This page has 4 photos each sized 4 inches by 4 inches.  Sometimes I like to pocket scrapbook, sometimes I will do a layout with one picture, but most of the time I like to incorporate several pictures.  Call me old timey, but I like pages to tell a complete story.

From the photos, it is a little obvious that my husband is in the Navy.  We have some of the best friends one could ever hope for, thanks to the Navy.  In the layout below we had attended a change of command dinner.  This is where the spouses and uniformed member get dressed up, and say their final goodbyes to the CO of the command.  Sometimes I get whiney about going, but they always end up being fun, we get to carry on a tradition, and hang out with great people.

1.  I started by trimming down my photos to 4×4 inch squares.

2.  Then I adhered the photos to a 8 1/4 squared white card stock using the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L EZ Dots Permanent Refillable tape runner.

3.  I adhered the gold anchor diecut over the photos using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Crafty Foam Tape.

4.  Adhere the tags and die cuts using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L EZ Dots Permanent Refillable tape runner.

5. Adhere the star & anchor button to the layout using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares (white, regular)

6. Journal

Using pattern paper and scissors I made little pennants.
