Sparkle Happy Scrapbook Page by Tracy McLennon
Our blog hop theme is Sparkle, and let me tell you….that’s easy for me! I love everything shiny. Marbleous Collection from Paper House Productions has that perfect hit of gold here and there, so I just wanted to pick up where they left off. Add some fabulous adhesive and gold foil….voila! Sparkle!
To add even a little more Sparkle to my layout I enlisted the help of my Premium Double-Sided Tape 1/8″ and Gold Foil from the 3D Foam Creative Embellishment Kit. I added foiled lines around the edges of my layout and then also added foiled strips around the patterned circle, to create a sort of wreath of sparkle and washi.

Hi, I’m excited to be sharing a layered layout with you using the Paper House Productions Color Washed Collection with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® products of E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser and 3D Foam Circles White Mix.
We just came home from a school trip to DC and I was so happy to be able to share the experience with my daughter. Using this favorite picture of Mack and me, I created a page. Here’s a close up of some of the dreamy details in the Paper House Productions Color Wash Collection. 3D Foam Circles White Mix added the perfect dimension to pop up some of those sparkly stickers used as die cut accents.

Oh my! Both of these two gorgeous layouts are calling to me! I love the soft watercolour images and background with the metallic shimmer. How sweet to see the butterflies and the touches of lace. Sometimes I think the shabby romantic look is gone but then I see something like this and it makes me so pleased. In contrast the happy LO design with all the shine and zing of the arrows is so full of energy against the dark background. What a great way to capture your attention!

The “Happy” layout is stunning! Although there’s a great deal of added sparkle, all it does is capitalize on the adorable smile of the subject. Beautiful way to showcase something so precious.
