Happy October 1st! Jamie here with you to start off October with a cute Halloween card that’s a little sparkly and a little spooky. I’m happy to share this Spooky BOO with Sparkly Ghosts card with you so let’s get started!

I love glitter and bling! With the help of Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and their adhesives, it’s easy to get everything to stick!

Creating a Spooky Boo Card Background

I started off making a cloudy background with pink and gray inks using blender brushes. It’s a beautiful background against the Halloween theme. Set aside to dry. Let’s work on the panel.

Sparkly Ghosts Panel

Now for the super-easy way to add ghosts and sparkle. Cut a piece of Adhesive Sheets 4x6in Adhesive Sheets to 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″. Next, place on the same size black cardstock. Remove the top liner of the Adhesive Sheet and place white glittered ghost die cuts on the exposed adhesive sheet as desired. Cover the cardstock with black glitter and rub to secure the glitter. Repeat the step until it’s completely covered in glitter.

Assemble the Spooky Boo Card

Attach the ghost panel to a slightly wider purple panel using the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser. Then place it on the left side of the cloud card front using the same adhesive. Mat the card front onto a slightly larger black panel and finally, onto a purple card base.

“BOO” was die-cut from an alphabet stencil and popped up on the card using 3D Foam Squares Micro White. These foam squares make it really easy to pop up pieces that have thin lines, I love them!! For a touch of interest, add black enamel accents randomly in the clouds. And that’s it! So Fun!
