Vintage Floral Frame Card

Hi everyone, Yvonne here with a vintage floral frame card. Adding a dimensional effect makes this vintage style card extra fun. The wide range of Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L products makes it super easy to assemble this card. Wanna join me in creating the card? Let’s do it!

Make the Top Card Panel

Start by inking the embossing folder using grey ink. This is to create a depth effect after embossing.

Now put a piece of white cardstock between the embossing folder and run through your die-cutting and embossing machine using the sandwich as recommended by its manufacturer. Then take out the embossed paper. Trim the cardstock to the desired size.  Since the card is vintage style, I altered the embossed cardstock with brown ink and an ink blending tool.

Layered Card Base

Use the E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser to adhere the embossed card panel onto a piece of kraft cardstock and next adhere onto a white card base.

Create the Floral Frame

First, cut the two frames out. Then adhere the background frame onto the card base using Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix. Then adhere the Vintage style photo behind the top frame using 3D Foam Strips.

Next, adhere the picture frame onto the card base using Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix.

Embellish into a Floral Frame

Adhere some rolled-up flowers onto the card using Adhesive Dots Mini. Then adhere some mulberry flowers onto the card using Adhesive Dots.

Finish the card by adhering some butterfly shapes. To pop them up, I used Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix. Don’t they look great?
