Mixed Media Note Pad Folders

Hi, Connie here with easy Note Pad Folders using the post-it notes as the inside of the folder. Great for the car, teacher gift, or heck, for yourself! I’m also sharing some tips to make your 3D Foam Circles White Mix go even further than you thought. More bang for the buck!

A few steps before putting this together and sharing the tips. Cut a piece of pattern paper 3 3/4″ X 8″. Score at 3 5/8″ and 4″. Fold and trim off, from the bottom, about 1/8″ to square up the folder. The front pieces are 3″ X 3″ heavy white cardstock and the mat, for the cover, is 3 1/4″ X 3 1/4″.

Covers for the Note Pad Folders

1. Tip #1: Keep the release sheet (back liner) of the 3D Foam products to use as a disposable paint pallet.
2. Create a mixed media background using Distress Oxide inks.

1. Tip #2: Use the liner sheet from the 3D Foam Circles White Mix as a stencil.
2. After the circles were added, using a water brush, they were outlined with a white paint pen and then a black fine tip marker. Stamp images over the mixed media background.

Tip #3: Cut up the negative part of the 3D Foam Circle White Mix sheet to pop up the square and adhere to the pattern paper mat.

1. Adhere the mat to the front of note pad folder using the E-Z Grand Runner® Refillable Dispenser. Add the word sentiment to the front using the 3D Foam Strips Black.
2. To adhere the Post-It Notes pad to the inside of the folder use Premium Double-Sided Tape 1″.
