Feel Better Card: Adhesive Sheets Two Ways

Hi, Emily here today! Do you have a stash of paper scraps in your craft room you want to get rid of? Before doing so, check out this technique where I use strips of paper with Adhesive Sheets 4×6 to create a beautiful background for my Feel Better Card!

Feel Better Card: Adhesive Sheet First Way

What’s great about the Adhesive Sheets is you can use them with your die-cutting machine! They leave no sticky residue, and the backing peels off very easily so you can create your own stickers. That is one way I used these sheets. I had a word die I knew would need some adhesive on the back. Instead of using glue, it was so much easier to use an Adhesive Sheet! That way, when I stuck my letters (Feel Better) onto my vellum piece, there was no residue.

Feel Better Card: Adhesive Sheet Second Way

I was inspired to create this card background because of the Adhesive Sheets 4×6 in particular. These are the perfect size for an A2 card base! I started by peeling the backing off the Adhesive Sheet and then placing it onto some white cardstock. From there, I carefully peeled back the other sheet off to expose the adhesive. I then used strips of different patterned paper to form a diagonal pattern on my white cardstock. This is a fantastic way to use up your scraps in the craft room!

From there, I die-cut out the base of my card, and assembly was fairly simple since my background was complete! To put my word piece onto the base of my card without any adhesive showing through my vellum, I used the 3D Foam Squares Micro in White. These worked perfectly, as they were small enough to be behind each letter and also added some dimension to the front of my card!

I finished it off with some sequins, and it was quite simple to make! The Adhesive Sheets make it so easy and way less messy than having to use glue. If you’d like to see a full process video on how this card came together, you can find that on my YouTube channel here!
