Good morning! Michele here! As you know, October is breast cancer awareness month, so I created a card honoring a friend of mine who is currently fighting this disease. I wanted to send her a card of encouragement. She has a tough spirit and I know she will get through this with the support of her family and friends. But even tough girls need reminders. 😉
My card uses a stamp set from Crafty Secrets. It was colored with Copic Markers. The Pink Creative Photo Corners from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® were perfect for this card! I used a Spellbinders die for the image and background matte. The embossing folder was also by Spellbinders.
I added a bit of ribbon, pearls, and added layers of dimension. ( I love using the Dodz™ to adhere my little embellishments.)
Pink Creative Photo Corners are the best! 🙂
I started layering my pieces and incorporated those pretty Pink Creative Photo Corners.
I stamped and colored all of my pieces and laid them out so I could decide how to arrange them.
Since I am a fan of lumpy cards, I pulled out my favorite 3D Foam Squares to do the job!
I placed them behind my main image so my gal would be popped off the page a bit.
I embossed the back panel and needed to adhere it to the card, so the E-Z Squares® were perfect!
Here is a final peek at the finished product!
Thank you for stopping by! I am off to pop this card in the mail today!

Oh Michele what a beautiful, sassy, pointe card just awesome! I love that you took a vintage image and used it for a current awareness topic. Pink is my favorite color so when the new pink photo coners came out I flipped. Of course they are perfect for cards this month but I think they will be perfect for other feminine cards all around. I send prayers and blessings to your friend and wish the best for her. I know good friends are important at a time like this and you sound like you fit the bill
