Michele here with a tropical color scheme for a winter card. I have a stash of paint chip samples and decided to put them to good use and combined them with some fun Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L® products, WOW! embossing powder, and a WOW! stamp.
So here is the scoop on how it was created. I cut the paint chips into one inch strips and arranged them in an ombre fashion. I used the background stamp by WOW called Cracked Leather. I stamped it with Versarmark and embossed with WOW Pearl Gold Sparkle embossing powder. I also dipped each edge into my Versamark and embossed that as well. I absolutely LOVE how sparkly this gold is!!!
I added a strip of gold paper and adhered it with E-Z Dots® Permanent – Refillable. I die cut two snowflakes. I embossed the larger one with the Pearl Gold WOW! embossing powder and the 3D Foam Snowflake from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. I did the same with the dots that were on the same sheet as the snowflakes.
I added ribbon and flowers to the center of the snowflake using my DODZ™ Medium to hold it in place. I also added a few sequins and gold thread.
