Hello! Just 4 more days here and then they start to head back to school! We haven’t yet started here in Pacific Northwest, so I have just a few more days of summer left! I thought I would make a cute little pencil wrap for daughters new teachers to start the year off. New school, all new teachers, and one nervous little 6th grader.
Remember this post where I covered cardstock with glitter to make my own glittered card stock sheets? I still have quite a bit left of it and cut a strip off to use here. It’s handy to keep a sheet around once it’s pre-made. To adhere a few strips to my blue card stock wrap, I used my HomeHobby by 3L® E-Z Runner® Grand Permanent Strips.
Next, I used the Home & Hobby by 3L® Extreme Double-Sided Tape to secure the ends, slowly rolling around the pencils, adding a few more strips on the other end as well.
To hold the apple in place, just place a 3D Foam Square or two on the back.
