Hi everyone, Laurel here. I don’t know about you but we are having a fabulous winter here and it has me inspired to create many winter themed projects. Today I have a card to share.
I am building up my birthday card stash for kids as I give the students in my class a hand made card and pencil on their birthday. I have a few boys having birthdays this month so I decided a winter card would be perfect.
I knew the 3D Foam Snowflakes would work well for this, such an easy way to add some interest. I chose 2 snowflakes and removed them from the package and placed them down sticky side up. I then sprinkled with glitter and finally, removed the backing and adhered to the card. I fussy cut the little penguin and then mounted him with some 3D Foam Squares.
To adhere all of the main pieces I used the E-Z Runner® Grand. It is a simple card, but it is for a 7 year old boy, and who knows if it will even make it home 🙂
Products used:
E-Z Runner® Grand Permanent Strips (150′)
3D Foam Squares White Small
3D Foam Snowflakes
Other products:
Pattern Paper: Pebbles
Die: Papertrey Ink
Glitter: Martha Stewart

What an adorable card a great way to use up some of your winter supplies. I must say I keep hearing over and over how people want to build up their birthday card stash. I have the same desire for this new year. I’m tired of scrambling at the last minute to make a card for someone. I hope we are all able to achieve this in order to make crafting fun again. TFS ?
