Hi friends! Dana Tatar here today sharing a fun money-saving craft project that is easy to make. I created this set of colorful piñatas for the upcoming Cinco de Mayo holiday. I only needed basic craft supplies; empty paper rolls, tissue paper, and some Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® products.
I’m hoping to avoid the drama that usually surrounds a large piñata by handing out these cute personal piñatas that I filled with small candy and colorful paper shred.
How to Bring Some Fun to Your Fiesta
I created some decorative pull tags for each piñata using chipboard circles and some free clipart. First, I printed the Cinco de Mayo images onto white cardstock. Then I secured them to each tag with a Large Adhesive Dot.
I sealed and decorated each piñata with tissue paper and Crafty Power Tape. This high-tack, permanent tape has a strong bond which is important for a project that needs to hold up to handling. The translucent quality of this tape means that it is not visible, even through the thin, delicate layers of tissue paper.
If you’d like to see the full tutorial and the complete supply list for this project, please stop by my blog. I also share the link to the free sheet of stickers I used.

This design is easy to personalize for any occasion by simply changing the color of tissue paper and the decorations on the pull tags. What type of party would you use these favors for? Let me know in the comments section.
