Hi everyone, Yvonne here. The beautiful colors of autumn inspired me to make this card with a foiled Thankful sentiment. Using Adhesive Sheets 4×6 inch with Metallic Transfer Foil from the 3D Foam Creative Embellishment Kit with Foil, you can easily make your own foiled word stickers. Let me show you how.
Autumn Colors in the Tree
Die-cut and emboss a tree from dark brown cardstock. Set aside to work on the leaf die cuts.
To make the colored leaf die cuts, first ink a piece of Kraft cardstock using a dauber and autumn colored inks. Simple dab circle shapes with the dauber in various colors and let dry thoroughly.
Once the ink colors dry, die-cut and emboss the leaf shapes. You will have beautiful colored autumn leaves!
Adhere the leaves to the tree using Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix. TIP: I cut the 3D Foam Squares into small thin stripes to fit behind the die cut.
Making the Card Panels
Die-cut and emboss an old book page into a rectangle shape. To alter the panel, use an ink blending tool and a brown ink pad.
Mat it on a piece of dark brown cardstock and adhere using the E-Z Runner® Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser.
Next adhere the embellished autumn tree die cut to the panel using Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix.
With a black fine-liner, draw some horizontal lines at the foot of the tree to anchor the design.
Cut a piece of green and orange satin ribbon. Wrap the slightly wider green satin ribbon around the panel and adhere it to the back using the E-Z Runner® Ultra Strong. Then wrap the orange ribbon on top of the green ribbon and the card panel, adhere the same way.
Adhere the finished card panel onto an olive green cardstock using the E-Z Runner® Ultra Strong. Then mat upon a white card base with the E-Z Runner® Ultra Strong.
Make a Foiled Thankful Sentiment Sticker
Adhere a piece of Adhesive Sheets 4×6 inch to the back of the dark brown cardstock by removing the yellow liner and placing cardstock onto the adhesive. Make sure to transfer the adhesive well by burnishing with your fingers or a bone folder.

Now to make the cardstock into a foiled sentiment! Adhere a piece of Adhesive Sheets 4×6 inch to the front of the cardstock, using the same process as above.
Remove the white liner from the front side of the cardstock and place a piece of red foil from the 3D Foam Creative Embellishment Kit with Foil. Apply the foil colored side UP. Transfer the foil by burnishing gently with your fingers.
Peel away the foil sheet and die-cut the sentiment. Remove the liner from the back side and adhere the foiled Thankful sticker to the card base.
To complete the card, adhere fall colored rhinestones to the tree. Since my rhinestones are not self-adhesive, I am using Adhesive Dots Micro.
And voila…your foiled Thankful card is ready.
