Hi, Connie here with a mixed media You’re One in a Million Card. Featuring the Photo Corners Polypropylene Black as they have a glossy surface and make a unique accent. Stamping with red rubber stamps, this combination creates a fun and very possible Father’s Day card.
I also used the 3D Foam Strips Black to create the dimensional logs at the bottom of the card. Simple to do and such a great design element to add to a card. Love dimension!!
One in a Million Card Step Outs
- 1. Stamp tree logs and color them with Distress Oxide inks.
2. Create a mixed media type background on an A2 size card front. Cut the tree logs out and add the 3D Foam Strips Black to the smaller logs and use the E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser on the larger logs. Stamp the focal (the Ostrich) in the center and add mixed media-inspired stamps to the background for a distressed look.
3. Adhere the card front to black cardstock using Crafty Foam Tape 108ft.
4. Place the Photo Corners Polypropylene Black in the upper right corner of the card. Then adhere the matted card front to the card base using the E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser.
Speckle with white acrylic paint to complete the card. Such a fun way to add a distressed look and so easy!!!
I hope you enjoyed this One in a Million Card tutorial and it inspires you to create your Father’s Day card early! Thanks for stopping by!!!
