Hi, Connie here with a couple of Sending Hugs Mixed Media Gift Tags using stamps and ink, and featuring 3D Foam Strips. These were really fun to create and the 3D Foam Strips make adhering the sentiments a breeze!! That is a win in my book.
Creating the Sending Hugs Tag backgrounds
- 1. Using watered down Distress Oxide inks dab the tag in a color, let it dry and repeat until you get the look you want. This process can be done several times with different color of inks. I selected three coordinating colors of ink.
2. Stamp label, birds then color and trim out. I used Distress Oxides to add color to the birds.
3. Stamp added images to the tag fronts using the same inks used to create the tag backgrounds.
4. Stamp out the sentiments and trim out. I used Hero Arts Pigment ink for this.
Add the large labels to the tag front with Crafty Foam Tape 108′. Using the 3D Foam Squares White Mix add the birds to the large labels. Add sentiments using 3D Foam Strips. To finish the tags add twine and fabric to the tops of the tags.
Thanks for stopping by!
