Hi, Jingle here today! Today’s card is a perfect summer Beachy Hello Card that is sure to bring smiles! This one brings together some really interesting specialty papers to create a design filled with texture without being too complicated.
Crab Elements on the Beachy Hello Card Front
These sweet little crabs are a lot of fun, cut from blue shimmer paper and popped up using Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix. They are perfect because you have the larger squares for the body and the smaller ones for the claws! Just use tiny drops of Dual Tip Glue Pen to adhere those eyes in just the right spot!
Card Layer Details
The layered base of the card adds a lot of visual interest. I rely on my E-Z Runner® Grand Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser for jobs like this. The black panel is adhered to the card base, and then the sandy panel is adhered to offer a great deal of visual depth.
The water is a beautiful Unryu textured paper layered over white cardstock. The E-Z Runner® Permanent Fine Adhesive Dispenser (aka Vellum Runner) is the perfect tool for this job! You can’t see it beneath this super-thin paper, and it sticks so well! I also use this to adhere the sentiment layers, as it is really good with finer detail pieces, as well.
