Hello everyone! I have a masculine birthday card to share that has a very vintage worn look. I’ve used 3D Foam Creative Sheets and 3D Foam Squares to pop up some elements. I like the visual depth and interest created by raising some pieces!
The gold frame, clock, arrow, hand and birthday label all have some dimension. To make the gold frame, I placed the craft foil on a piece of 3D Foam Creative Sheets Black before I die cut it. Because the foam compresses as it goes through a die cut machine, it’s easy to cut, but it pops right back up! The 3D Foam Creative Sheets give the frame thickness plus an adhesive backing so it’s just like a sticker. I used the frame over a stamped collage that’s been rubbed with Distress inks. It’s fastened to black cardstock with E-Z Runner® Ultra Permanent Refillable Dispenser. It was also used to fasten it to the card which was stamped and rubbed with Distress inks. It’s really sticky and sticks over Distress ink.
The arrow, clock face and hand were stamped, fussy cut and popped up with 3D Foam Squares – Regular, Black cut to fit as needed. Happy birthday was stamped and free hand cut to form label and then fastened with E-Z Runner® Ultra Permanent Refillable Dispenser to red mat. It’s fastened to the card with 3D Foam Squares. The cut outs from the gold frame (a narrow strip and tiny triangle) were used as accents. Even though small, they were so easy to fasten because of 3D Foam Creative Sheets backing!
Happy creating with dimension!
