Welcome to Day 3 of our 2012 Blog Hop with Graphic 45!
Card Duo by Beth Pingry
I have 2 cards today, because I just LOVE this paper collection! Its the same Bird Song Collection that Christine uses below, but the projects are so very different!
The first card is layered with gold and black patterned papers, using Gold and Black Photo Corners to direct the eye to the focal point. I fussy cut the image to keep the butterfly. 3D Foam Squares Black give the image a lift and blend in to the background.

And another view to show the depth and layers:

For the next card I layered duplicate images. I cut out the frame and the lady, then layered them over the same image for dimension. I used Thin 3D Foam Squares for both pieces. Then I cut out the fan images and layered them too.

The red fan border uses Crafty Foam Tape Black all the way across, a perfect fit! You can see that the black tape blends in, you can’t see it at all. Gold Photo Corners frame and complete the look. Here’s another view:

Thanks for visiting. Please pin the projects if you love them!

Graphic 45: Bird Song Collection
Journal by Christine Emberson
Hi, it’s Christine here today sharing with you a little journal created with the very beautiful Graphic 45 Bird Song papers and Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L® products.

I gathered together a small notebook purchased from my local supermarket, the papers, Graphic 45 Trim (the lacy is so pretty!), my E-Z Runner® and 3D Foam Squares.

I chose to cover the notebook with the patterned paper using Crafty Power Tape – this is super strong stuff!

I also used Crafty Power Tape to adhere the lace trim down a smaller piece of patterned paper – this is going to wrap around the spine of my notebook.

I cut some flower die cuts from Spellbinders™ Jewel Flowers and Flourishes. I attached 3D Foam Squares to the back to add dimension. These are so easy to remove from the packaging, makes a quick project even quicker! I also used a stamped Labels Twenty-Two for the ‘Journal’ title.

Here is the finished journal. A handy size to keep in your handbag.

A close up shot.

Thank you for joining me today.
