Hello!! AJ here to share a masculine card using Adhesive Sheets.
I really loved Stephanie’s post Easter Card with 3D Foam Easter Shapes and Paper Scraps so I thought I would give it try for my card. Father’s Day is next month, and if your calendar is booked up like mine, it’s probably a good idea to work ahead! 😉
I have a TON of paper strips all over the place, and thought it would be a great way to use of these scraps! To start, I used an older color of card stock and adhered the strips one by one, butted right up to each other using E-Z Squares® Refillable.
Here’s all the strips lined up and ready for action.
I ran it through my die cutting machine and adhered it to my card base using Crafty Foam Tape. Any time I have an intricate word die cut, I use the Adhesive Sheets. These make life so much easier! Remove the liner, place your card stock down onto the adhesive. Burnish a bit. Place your word face down onto the black card stock. This will allow for the back of your word die cut to be sticky. *If you want the front sticky for adding foil or glitter, flip the whole sheet over, and lay the word down on the other side.
Run it through your die cutting machine and this pops right out and is ready to go!
I don’t add a lot of frilly items to my fathers day cards, or to cards I make for any guys…Those types of details are usually lost. 😉
Enjoy!
AJ
