Tracy McLennon’s Dimensional Always Wonderful Card
Today I am sharing my card created using Quietfire Design Stamps and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® adhesives. My inspiration was the beautifully scripted Quietfire Design stamp.
I wanted to create a card that focused on the sentiment with a ton of dimension and a little bit of sparkle provided by some of my favourite adhesives.
Each cardstock layer is silver paper with Creative Photo Corners White, staggered and adhered with 3D Foam Squares. They’re not just for photos, the Creative Photo Corners create a frame around the stamped sentiment and the layers below it. Can you see the star the design creates?

Margie Higuchi’s Dimensional Holiday Thanks Card
My dimensional card is a great way to send a thank you during the holidays. Using Quietfire Design’s stencil and beautiful “Thanks” metal etched die, I can pair them with our 3D Foam Creative Embellishment Kit and Adhesive Dots Large Repositionable.
Adhesive Dots Large Repositionable are awesome because of their non-permanent bond that allows removal and repositioning without reapplication or damage to surfaces. I used them to hold down my stencil and card panel. They roll right off after use, without tearing or staining! For the “Thanks” die cut, to make it stand out I used the 3D Foam Creative Embellishment Kit with Foil for dimension and silver foil for a shiny silver element = perfect!
Using the Crafty Foam Tape, I secured the Creative Photo Corners Silver in the back and popped up the panel for extra dimension from my 7 x 5″ black card base.

A combination of simple and clean/layered. Not a lot of glitter, tends to come off in mailing.

By Maxine October 16, 2017 - 7:12 am
Lovely cards and love that some are quick to make.
Seems like I always have to send out a card or cards that I wasn’t counting on.
By Mary Holshouser October 16, 2017 - 9:15 am
I like to make scenes with my cards.
They are more to the simple side than over-loaded
with glitter. Do like dimension of the layering adhesvies
are used a lot. Have a packet of corners – thanks for the
idea for using them since I don’t scrapbook.
thanks for sharing.

Lovely cards! I’m not sure I have a favorite holiday style of card, I love it all. For my family & friends, I make all of their cards individually. Some are more ornate than others, some more CAS. I try to fit the card to the recipients personality.

My Christmas card style is layers and glitter!! And lots of it!! Love the clean and simple, but I just can’t leave that much white space! LOL!

By Sheri Kempke October 16, 2017 - 12:04 pm
Very pretty card posted. I’m more of a simple yet elegant kind of card maker–not truly clean and simple, with just a small bit of bling, depending on the occasion.
By Janice Carl October 16, 2017 - 12:07 pm
My cards are usually clean and simple, not fussy!
I love the thanks card, the plaid with the silver is nice! (But the back side with the trees is really fun!)
By Konni Andis October 16, 2017 - 12:27 pm
I think since I’m relatively new to card making I’m still trying to find my style. But I do LOVE the bling! Layers are so fun! The dimension of layers is so interesting!

I don’t have a particular card style. I love experimenting with all sorts of designs. I will admit they all usually end up with some Wink of Stella on them for the holidays tho!
By Waco Bayless October 16, 2017 - 2:08 pm
Love the designs! I’m always looking for inspiration.
By Kate B October 16, 2017 - 2:13 pm
What clever ways to use and attach the photo corners! I love your products & seeing inspiration for others that are new to me!
By Kate B October 16, 2017 - 2:16 pm
Ooops, I forgot to tell you – my favorite holiday cards are interactive, but it all depends if time allows. If I’m short on time, or making a bunch of cards for a card drive, then I usually go with a more clean & simple approach.
By Dawn Skene October 16, 2017 - 2:28 pm
Such pretty cards! I use simple and clean or layered for my Christmas cards.
By Barbara-Jean October 16, 2017 - 4:19 pm
I like simple and clean , or some layering, not a whole lot of glitter, but some is fun! It was very difficult to get to this comment section! Maybe it’s my laptop’s problem!
