Hello everyone, it is Linda here; today I am excited to be sharing a Patchwork Follow Your Heart card created with some of my ever-increasing pile of ‘favourite’ scraps of paper that are too pretty to throw away. I am sure many can relate or is it just me!?! You can see below how I have used four different paper scraps to create a fun background for any card using one of my favourite products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
Create a Patchwork Background
Remove the adhesive from one side of the Adhesive Sheets 4x6in. Adhere to a piece of recycled cardboard measuring 10cm x 15cm.
Using a square 1 3/8” punch cut four squares from three different patterned papers. Remove the top layer from the Adhesive Sheets 4x6in., arrange the squares onto recycled cardboard. Cut the card front to size using a Pierced Rectangle Die; attach to a slightly larger A-frame white card base.
Make Embellishments
Use one of the smallest sizes of the Keepsake Envelopes. Layer 3 pieces of the Journal Bits and Pieces together, slightly fanned out, apply a small strip of the E-Z Dots® Permanent Refill Dispenser to the back of the embellishments. Tuck inside the Keepsake Envelopes.
Peel the backing off the Keepsake Envelopes and adhere, slightly angled to the top right-hand corner of the card front.
Wrap white twine around the lower portion of the card front, twice, secure with a bow.
Adhere 3D Foam Squares to the back of the circular Journal Bits and Pieces.
Add Journal Bits and Pieces to the Circle embellishment. Remove the backing from the 3D Foam Squares and adhere to a white die cut circle.
Adhere to the card front using E-Z Runner® Grand Permanent Strips Dispenser, slightly angled onto the Keepsake Envelopes. Glue a button to the centre of the bow.
