Hi, Shannon here today! I love having handmade cards on hand. So to add to my stash, I created these Poppy & Pear Card Trio with some scraps from my stash. The bright mix of patterned papers with a bit of neutral florals makes me happy!
Let’s Create the Card Trio Bases
Choose three gorgeous patterns with equal beauty on both sides and trim the papers to 4.5″ x 10″. Next, score and fold them in half. To add a bit of interest, I love to use my edge punches so I used this older punch. Now we can see some of the pattern from the inside!
I think that the card trio looks super cute with the corners rounded. I used my corner rounder punch for the final step on my card bases.
Let’s Decorate
This collection has gorgeous neutral florals. I fussy cut some of the florals out of the patterned papers to layer them on the fussy cut frame pieces. Next, I popped the florals up with 3D Foam Strips and 3D Foam Squares. The little frames are adhered nicely with the E-Z Runner® Grand Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser.
It’s time to add cute sentiments! Double stack the 3D Foam Squares to pop up my 3D Foam Hearts. I covered the 3D Foam Hearts with Metallic Foil Sheets in Pastel. Remember to face the color side towards you. Gently rub the foil to transfer the color to the 3D Foam Hearts.
Thanks for visiting!
