Hello everyone! Asia King here and today I have a wintery seasonal card with a twist :). Some of my friends don’t celebrate Christmas in a frosty wintery climate so I decided to throw in some flowers and make this card a little bit different.
I started off by stamping the flowers onto a winter themed design paper and added highlights with a dimensional paint writer and crystal glitter. To create a mat for my stamped panel I covered a piece of black cardstock with Adhesive Sheets 6×12″ and sprinkled it with black glitter. To adhere the panel to the mat I used Home & Hobby Extreme Double-Sided Tape – 1/2″ Permanent.
Next, I wrapped a sparkly ribbon around the panel and embellished the card further with a glittery snowflake and snow dots from the 3D Foam Snowflakes. For my sentiment I stamped the image with black ink and heat embossed it with the sparkly Kaleidoscope powder. I fussy cut the sentiment and corresponding mats from green cardstock and my DIY black glittered card.
After layering the pieces with E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser I popped my sentiment over some 3D Foam Squares Regular – White. I also added a matching bow secured with DODZ 3D.
Finally, I adhered the decorated panel to the card base with Home & Hobby Extreme Double-Sided Tape – 1/2″ Permanent and added final snow highlights to the ribbon and the sentiment panel.
