Creating a Masculine Tag featuring Washi Tape and More!

Hi everyone, Christine here today with a masculine tag featuring Washi Tape, plus other fabulous different adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®.

First of all, take a regular luggage tag and let’s create a series of vertical strips.

Place one strip in the middle and then add two more.

I then used Crafty Power Tape to affix a piece of ribbon horizontally.

Next step was to die cut two rectangles, one black and one from patterned paper, affixed with E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable.

Position and affixed in place with Crafty Foam Tape – White.

Twine tied twice with a bow for extra embellishment.

The finished masculine tag with the wood effect of the tissue tape and combining kraft with black.

And here’s an extra touch…place a little envelope on the back to house a gift card!

Surprise Card

Happy September!  It’s Amy and I can’t believe that the summer is wrapping up!  I wanted to design a card that uses some fun fall colors.

Here’s a quick peek at some of the supplies I used on my card:

I started off by adhering the base panel and circle die cut with the E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser.  Love using this particular dispenser because, I’ll be honest, it doesn’t get lost on my desk!  I’m a very messy crafter and at the end of a project, my desk is loaded with supplies!  Do you see that wood grain strip?  That is two strips of Tissue Tape.  My card uses the Oak and the strip is on 3D Foam Squares White, Regular.

Who wouldn’t love to receive a Sock Monkey card?  Bonus that he is offering up two cups of coffee!  The coffee mugs have been popped up with 3D Foam Squares – White, Regular.

Halloween Trick or Treat Container using E-Z Runner® Ultra

Hello AJ here with some easy and fun Halloween Trick or Treat boxes that I assembled using E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser.

AJOtto-TOTBox-1These are perfectly sized for your ‘special’ trick-or-treater and can be dressed in any way that you like!  (I’m thinking ahead to the holidays and filling them with baked goods as well! 😉

AJOtto-TOTBox-2To start it off, I thought a little contrasting color would be fun. I adhered a few thin strips of green yardstick using the E-Z Runner® Micro Refillable Dispenser.  This is perfectly sized for your thin strips of anything.

AJOtto-TOTBox-3For anything box related I always use my E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser.  I just LOVE that it’s clear and so the strong hold is ideal for these types of party favors!

AJOtto-TOTBox-4 For some added fun, a few sequins using our Mini Adhesive Dots.  A definite staple on my desk now.  They are sized perfectly for sequins and smaller embellishments.

The tag is hanging by some black thread, and a few 3D Foam Squares – White, Regular a placed between each tag to keep them perfectly placed.

Creating a Grateful Journal Cover using Adhesive Sheets and Thin 3D Foam Squares

Hello crafty friends! It’s Judy here today to show you how I turned an inexpensive composition notebook cover into a Fall Grateful Journal. I was inspired by some dried leaves that I found pressed in the pages of an old phone book. Of course, I couldn’t throw them away!  Creative inspiration kicked in! LOL!

Here’s the how-to:

Start with a simple composition notebook.  I keep several on hand as I buy them at this time of the year (aka back to school supplies sales!). I added patterned paper, cardstock, Art Medium, Adhesive Sheets 12 x 12ʺ, Washi Tape, Twine and Thin 3D Foam Squares Mix Black.

Apply Art Medium to both sides of the leaves and let them dry.

Next apply Adhesive Sheets 12 x 12ʺ to back of patterned paper that was cut to fit notebook cover.

Fasten the patterned paper over the cover and trim the corners to match notebook.  Do the same for the back cover only.

Add wood look Washi Tape along the spine.

Rub various inks into the pattern paper. Stamp script along the edges.

Arrange leaves on the cover.  Then apply Art Medium to back of each one and press them in place. Brush a light coat over the top of the leaves as well.

Stamp “grateful” on ivory cardstock. Free hand trim around it. Rub inks over it. To fasten to the journal, use Thin 3D Foam Squares Mix Black.  Place them next to each other to cover most of the back side.  Fasten to journal.

Brush thin coat of the Art Medium over it to seal it.

Ink some tan Twine and dry it. Tie it around the cover near the spine.

The leaves are incredibly flexible from the Art Medium. They feel almost like oiled leather. It will be so inspiring to write in this journal come October!

Hello Sunshine Card

Hi there crafty friends! It’s Lisa here with you and I’m happy to share a bright and colorful Hello Sunshine card today.

Prior to cutting and scoring the center “rays”, the paper was colored with a variety of dye inks. Color was lifted off using water. It gives a bleached effect.

Using three colors of pigment powder I mixed a small amount of three colors with water:  blue, gold, and pink. Each color was flicked separately onto the card to allow the pigment to “settle”, if you will, then I dabbed off the excess and heat set. I did that with each color. So shimmery!! (See below)

The Sunshine die cut was adhered using the super fabulous 4 x 6″ Adhesive Sheets.  So easy to use these. I love how strong the adhesive is and that they leave no stringy, goopy stuff in between the die-cut.

Everything is held together using the E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser. This is an immediately tacky, ultra-strong adhesive and my absolute go-to adhesive. I also used the Thin 3D Foam Squares Mix White (using the Large Squares) on the back of the rays panel to give it a very slight amount of dimension. Navy twine tied in a bow finishes it all off.

Hello there, Latisha here with you today! I am sharing a decorated gift card holder that’s perfect for teachers as a back to school gift, or just a plain ole thank you.

1. Die cut patterned paper with a gift card die, adhere edges using Premium Double-sided Tape 1/4″.

2.  Die cut the top layer of the gift card using white and red card stock, then decorate with hearts.  Adhere the hearts using Crafty Foam Tape White and Dual Tip Glue Pen.

3.  Insert gift card into the holder.

4.  Adhere the die cut to the top of the gift card holder using Crafty Foam Tape White.

Teacher Gift Tag Idea with Adhesive Dots

School is right around the corner (YAY!) which means you’re BUSY getting kids ready! What about a teacher’s gift? Well, look no further! It’s Erica and today I’m sharing a cute school themed notepad. Just use a large tag using  Adhesive Dots Small and Adhesive Dots Mini.

I started by scoring and folding a large tag almost in half – just line the bottom corners up with the top corners leaving the rounded edge exposed.

I then scored two pieces of patterned paper in half and adhered the yellow pattern paper (shown below) to the inside of my tag using the E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser dispenser. Once the paper was in place I trimmed the excess from the left and right edges. I then adhered the black pattern paper to the outside of my tag also using the E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser dispenser and trimmed the excess paper.

I adhered the larger banner diecut pieces and the ‘school days’ label using the DODZ Adhesive Dots Small. I used the and DODZ Adhesive Dots Mini to adhere my buttons. This size is absolutely perfect for buttons and sequins!

I tied a pretty bow and added a sticky notepad on the inside. Pair this with a fun colored pen and you’re all set.

Die Cuts and Watercolors!

Round Shaped Love Card by Michele Kovack for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Good morning! Michele here with a multi layer die cut and water colored card! I water colored all of my die cut pieces.  I also went a bit water color crazy and did the blue and scalloped pink background too! I layered all of the pieces using Crafty Foam Tape White. ( I love that I can cut it to any size I need!) The last panel was adhered to the card base with E-Z Squares® Refillable Dispenser. The sentiment was cut out 4 times and adhered using the Dual Tip Glue pen.

I added sequins using Dodz Adhesive Dots Mini. I tied my satin bow and kept the ends in place with the Dodz Adhesive Dots Mini.  I added glitter to the birds’ wings using the Dual Tip Glue Pen.

Celebrate You Today Card Tutorial

Hi everyone, Christine here with a Celebrate You Today card tutorial using brilliant Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® products.

I first of all prepared my card base with a mat affixed in place with using  E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable.

Onto a piece of patterned paper I positioned a die cut and then affixed washi tape in a horizontal line.

To overlay a second die cut I used 3D Foam Squares White Regular to add dimension.

Affixed some die cut flowers for decoration with pearls to middle and it’s a finished card!

Many Birthday Blessings Card featuring Adhesive Sheets

Sending many birthday blessings through this layered card I created featuring Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Adhesives Sheets. Not only can you die cut with these sheets but you can easily carry them to your craft gatherings without the bulk of a machine or tool (LOVE that!!).

First I die cut my pieces with patterned paper (card panel and frame) and cardstock (background accent piece and sentiment).

I applied my background accent piece with Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6″ by pulling the liner back, placing the die cut on the sticky white surface and then placing back the liner to rub the die cut between the two sheets. Remove the liner and pull off the die cut (with its back covered in adhesive). Center the die cut on top of the card panel.

Next apply the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser on the back of card panel and adhere to A2 size card base.

Add adhesive on the back of the frame die cut using the process as background accent piece with the Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6″ and center the die cut onto the card panel.

Stamp the sentiment onto the die cut and add 3D Foam Squares – Black, Regular on the back. Center onto the frame die cut on card panel.

Add trinket butterfly pin on an angle behind on the lower left side of frame die cut (the adhesive sheet adhesive will secure it as well as the Dodz™ Adhesive Dots 3D as explained below).

For the finishing touch, place a Dodz™ Adhesive Dots 3D on the back of a flower embellishment and place on top of the trinket butterfly pin.
