Welcome to Day 1 of our Blog Hop with Freckled Fawn!
It’s Angela here today with a gold flecked card featuring the fabulous Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® 12 x 12″ Sheet Adhesive and Freckled Fawn arrow embellishments.
The card background is a piece of watercolor paper that I saved from some experimentation with different watercolor mediums. I scrunched a single Adhesive Sheet – 12 x 12″ into a tight ball, then smoothed it out, and rescrunched and resmoothed. I then applied it to the watercolor paper and lightly smoothed it (do not burnish!). I removed the Adhesive Sheet and then applied gold leaf to the adhesive left behind. It created the awesome gold flecked background for the card.
I then attached the Freckled Fawn Arrow Frames using a fresh Adhesive Sheet to turn the Arrow Frames into stickers. The sentiment was stamped with StazOn ink to ensure it wouldn’t smudge on the gold leaf. Here’s a close up of one of the arrows and the stamped sentiment:
