Hello everyone! It’s Kelly Klapstein here, and I’d like to welcome you to Day 3 of our blog hop with Freckled Fawn.
I had the good fortune of playing with some wonderful Freckled Fawn embellishments and decided to create a layout about my two daughters.
We were in Phoenix for Spring Break last March and went shopping (no kidding). I was trailing behind my girls, when I snapped this pic and thought, “Isn’t it nice to see them talking to each other instead of texting on their phones!?!”
The Freckled Fawn “HI” paper clips and fun acrylic shapes are so cool! Of course, I adore the Wood Chips too and used the “What?” Frame set and the “Speech Bubble” set….which are both perfect for layouts about teens!
All the Wood Chips from Freckled Fawn are natural, so you can customize them with any colour of ink. Just place them face down on an ink pad and rub them across.
I decided to alter all of them with black ink.
There are two adhesives that work really well with both the wood chips and the acrylic pieces: Adhesive Dots Small and the E-Z Dots™ Permanent Refillable Dispenser. I used the E-Z Dots™ to adhere the acrylic arrows and Speech Bubble Wood Chips.
I used Small Adhesive Dots on the wood frames and acrylic heart. Can you see how the box is also the dispenser? It sends out one dot at a time for easy application! They also come in Medium and 3D.
If your Adhesive Dots are larger than the item you are adhering, then just use non-stick scissors or tweezers to push them behind and out of sight.
If you’re anything like me, then you don’t want your adhesive to show up on your project!
