Freckled Fawn Blog Hop Day 4 – Much Love Card

Welcome to Day 4 of our blog hop with Freckled Fawn.  It is Christine here today with a Much Love Card.

CEmberson - Much Love4

I started with a white card base and cut a smaller piece of dotted green paper (Basic Grey – RSVP.  I inked the edges lightly.  This was then affixed to my card base using E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips – Refillable.

Added a strip of Freckled Fawn washi tape to the bottom section of the card.

I then selected Freckled Fawn wood embellishments – Wood Chips – Frames, added some distress ink to the edge (these would also look great painted!)  I easily attached the frame to the front of my card with 3D Foam Squares White Mix, the squares are so easy to cut to the exact size you need.

Also added a couple more Freckled Fawn Wood Chips – Hearts to the middle area of the frame.

The final touch – a red flower, Spellbinders Blooms Four

Just lifting the frame a little gives that nice dimension.

CEmberson - Much Love6I kept to a simple colour palette bringing out the red of the little heart on the washi tape with a flower.
